The MTC is an amazing place and is so spiritual its amazing! I have pretty much already remembered all I learned in Spanish in High School in NY and more! The beginnner class that is leaving to their areas know about as much Spanish as I do now after only being here 3 days! So I have no place to feel sorry for myself. I definitely know the least out of my district though, but that is fine because it is pushing me to be stronger and the spirit helps a lot. Understanding is easier than it is to speak right now! We taught our first investigator today all in Spanish! It was nerve racking! I taught the Joseph Smith part of the restoration while my companion, Elder Zapata taught about the Book of Mormon translation. My companion is funny he always talks about Digemon and all this crazy stuff! He is from Northern Cali, he is like 6' 1", dark skin, dark hair and is super nice and smart! He has ADD for sure! He can not focus, we will be planning a lesson and all of the sudden it will be like...SQUIRREL!! Then he will come back to earth and say what? But he is good at Spanish so I'm glad I got him as my companion! I dorm with 2 other elders, Elder Cushman is 19 from Georgia and he went to BYU and is our District leader, he's really cool and plays soccer!
( To my bros)~ Hey whats up guys! Firstoff I miss you guys like crazy! It is weird not to be there with you! Is it weird without me there? I wanna play wanna play 3 in a bucket and 21 w/ you guys so bad! I tell my companions all about how Austin can kick our trash at basketball and how Jake is just as good at wrestling and will probably kick my butt when I get home! Also how Mason is a freaking genius and is smarter than everyone but when he is outside of school he is an idiot! haha! I love you guys! Make sure you guys and mom and dad write every week it is way lonely here! So if you forget I will kill you guys!
Me amo mi familia mucho!
Love KC
